United Way's Nonprofit Leader's Network Website Goes Live
HerDesign proudly presents a new website for the United Way's Nonprofit Leaders Network located at http://www.nonprofitleadersnetwork.org. The Nonprofit Leaders Network is focused on enhancing and building local nonprofit leadership, resources, and outreach.
One feature the Nonprofit Leaders Network site boasts is interactive web-based forms. These forms are used to aid in membership application or workshop attendance. After each form is completed, the administrator has access to all submitted information and can then accept or decline members, attain lists of members and prospective attendees for workshops, and even receive submitted information to a delegated email account. The site also features a content management system. This system enables the administrator to edit the website from any computer with a web browser and internet access, html knowledge and ftp uploading tools are not necessary. The site also boasts user management, which allows users to be added, viewing permissions to confidential pages to be granted (such as the "Member's Only" section), member-lists to be attained, and the system even generates passwords for new users. The list of features just continues with a announcement generator, which allows the administrator to enter an announcement into the generator, then on certain web pages the announcement automatically displays. All of these features come together to create an interactive website that utilizes technology to simplify the tasks of the Nonprofit Leaders Network and site visitors.
